Multi RS Solar 48/6000

Upgrading my easy solar 1 48/3000

I have a string of 9 panels at 285 7 years old

i have built a 48 volt 400 amp lipo 4 battery

i need to increase my solar panels to maintain battery in winter

at my limit with easy solar so pulling it out and was going to replace with

Multi plus 48 5000 a 450 100 trs and a cerbo and 7 440 watt panels plus distinguished panels

the multi rs 48 3000 was recently suggested as a possible easy cleaner install and cheaper option to achieve my goals

only downside is the panels are higher than 13 amp feed in so would have to source different panels

i am trying to muddle through this obviously a electrician will do install

13A is the operational input current.

Max ISC IS 16a. What is the isc of your panels?

You can check your config with the mppt online calculator.

So you should be ok. But run it through the online calculator to settle your mind about it.

No need to change PV. It'll work

I have 580W panels with maximum 16A on my MultiRS. It works just fine.

During winter, when the temperature drops, you'll get more voltage, not current. Which is working good.
