We have an off grid system 2 x 15kva quattro, cerbo gx, 4 x byd 15.4, and diesel gen on AC1 in, all this works fine. We have now attached a hydro turbine with its own grid tie controller to AC1 out. We have selected ac pv inverter assistant for frequency shift, also enabled weak ac. Turbine parallels and connects to victron AC1 ok but as turbine takes more of the load (base load is 6kw) and victron output approaches zero to begin passing power back to victron to charge battery, voltage and current begin fluctuating wildly. Any ideas why and what settings we should make change??
