Multiplus drawing too many amps

Newbie here,
I just installed a Victron 2000 Multiplus and while testing it out my amperage draw changed from 1.95 amps while on shore power to 29.88 when I unplugged and went to use the inverter.
I’m using an Epoch 300 ah battery and I have no ac loads on. Not sure what’s going on.
How do I troubleshoot this problem?

Wiring diagram? Any DC loads running?

On shore power you should have a positive current into the battery. Maybe a "zero current calibration" is needed.
