PV inverter compatibility?

Hi all

My question is not so much to the compatible inverters available (Fronius, ABB, solar edge) but more to using non-listed PV inverters on AC-in of a Quattro. Can this be done? As I understand, the unlisted PV inverter will not be controlled via the CCGX, so you will have two separate systems. With control and monitoring separate?

Thanks

Hi Bosvark (sorry for slow reply!), As long as you’re not looking for a feature like our ESS Fronius Zero Feedin, then there is no control.

Besides that one feature, a GX Device only monitors those pv inverters listed as compatible.

So, definitively on AC in you can use other brands too. To get them monitored, add an energy meter. See PV Inverter chapter in the ccgx manual.

How would you do the monitoring if you connect them on the AC out of the inverter in an off-grid application?
