Indicated inverter output differs from actual

When I view the inverter power output through the Venus GX interface, it is much higher than the actual load. (156W indicated vs 89W actual) I confirmed this with a Kill A Watt meter. see here: https://imgur.com/a/knbj4mS

Does anyone have any idea on the reason for the discrepancy or how to correct it?

The meter is not that accurate to begin with, and it's also including inverter's internal consumption.
