multiplus frequency shifting: Older multiplus

Hello All

I have a costumer that have 3 multipluss 48/3000 in a 3 phase system.
The are quite old, so the question is if the still support the frequency shifting because the costumer wants to install additional plants uppstream.

Therefore we need to feed according to this:

The Serial number is: PMP483020000 / HQ1348BP1KM
So is this to old to use for this?

@Jimmy Henningsson

They do frequency shift but not with ESS assistant. They are too old for that. The chip number is where the capability is assessed.

But HQ13 will be the older processors that dont play with the newer features. They would be more the ones that use HUB. There is hub 4 as well. Chosen based on needs. And all depreciated.

Section in the ESS manual comparison.

Thanks for the information.

Does HUB-4 also work off grid?

I have no idea.

Most systems had moved to ESS or PV assistant for frequency shifting by the time I sunk my teeth into the Victron ecosystem

With off grid systems pv assistant is the one to use. Not sure if that loads on older hardware.

Maybe @Matthias Lange - DE can offer more insight?
