I have a spare cerbo that I am setting up for a test system so I can test mods etc. without endangering my production system. Can someone direct me to a mod or a driver to fake an inverter and possibly pv CC on the cerbo?
Yes. There are BASIC simulators for many of the components in the system in
/opt/victronenergy/dbus-systemcalc-py/scripts.
These are best run in a separate command window or could be run as a background task but note they output all changes to parameters to stdout which could interfere with other terminal windows activity.
Note that the simulators do not provide all the dbus parameters typically found in the actual devices but you can add them by editing the python code.
Running dbus-spy in a second command window allows you to change the dummy device's parameters.
