I have a 10kw array connected to an ESS system (smartsolar 450/200, Multiplus II, Cerbo GX, pylontecs). I have my victron EV charger hooked up and working fine in manual and scheduled modes, but very rarely does it come on automatically (it happened once). This seems to be because once the batteries are full the system throttles a lot of the power from the PV as it has nowhere to go. For some reason it doesn't understand that the charger is specifically waiting for this excess PV.
So it's just constantly "waiting for sun", even when there is sun in abundance!
Firmware is up to date.
Any ideas?
