Multiplus 3000 with large processor fw not updatable question

Hi all, just a quick question out of interest really, I have just updated a multiplus 3000/120/50 120v from 2702158 fw to the latest release 2702508, using a mk3 at the site.

after the new fw was installed on the multiplus i was expecting that any future fw updates would be able to be done remotely via the vrm remote update

site has the below and all units have also had there fw updated to the there latest release fw

1 x bmv 702

1 x mppt smart solar 150/50

1 x multiplus 3000 120 volt ac in/out all working well

1 x ccgx the ccgx is on the latest release fw (i suspect that maybe the ccgx is one of there early version)

its no big deal but does anyone know why the vrm is saying its Not updatable(1342)

Hi @Paul B

#1342 denotes an early model CCGX that can't handle the remote VE.Bus updates (and never will). I have this on my own system, and indeed also purchased with a Multi of v158 vintage. VEFlash still rulez..

What serialnumber does your CCGX have?

"In case of a Color Control GX (CCGX), it must have serial number HQ1707 or newer: see FAQ Q2 for how to check this."

See that chip in your pic with '2609' on it? That's your model number. Look in the 26 section for 2609510.vff - and good luck with the updete. VEFlash job..
