Multiplus 2 using only Ac out 2?

If i did not want to use the power assist feature on a multiplus 2 12/30/120 inverter/charger and i only wanted it to power all of my loads only when connected to shore power, could i simply just connect my AC output wires to AC output # 2 and leave AC output #1 empty?

PowerAssist is also working on AC Out 2.

Connected the loads to AC IN, so they only run from shore power.

But I don't see why you should do that.

Edit: You could try the "charger-only" mode, but I'm not sure if that will disable PowerAssist.

Oh yes sorry. Im half asleep. That would make no sense at all. That would effectively make the inverter useless. I have been reading all day trying to wrap my head around how inverter chargers work. getting tired.
