Stopping Colour Control GX Monitor Alarm Noise Remotely

Hi All,

I have 2 x 5kW MultiPlus2s working as a mains backup.

I want to hear the 'loss of mains supply' alarm when we have a mains outage (otherwise I'd never know!) but why do I have to go to the CCGX and manually cancel the alarm via the buttons on the CCGX to stop the alarm noise? I can clear the alarm in VRM either via iPhone app or VRM Portal on my desktop but this doesn't stop the CCGX alarm noise...


Is there something I need to do in the settings or something?

If you are on VRM go into "Remote Console" and you may be able to stop the alarm from there. I do jot 100% know if this works but I suggest that you try it. For remote console you need to have 2 way communication enabled under settings> VRM on line portal.

Indeed, I found this out after I posted my Q. Works via app as well as desktop.
