Multi Compact not recognized - MK3 USB

Hello,

maybe i haven't looked enough but i can't seem to figure this out. My multi compact 24/800/16 won't connect via mk3 usb to my pc. Drivers and the mk3 seem to work fine as Victron Connect and Veconfig3 both recognize the usb adapter.

I have also tried both rj45 ports on the multi and a selection of cables, but had no luck.

The firmware update from 150 to 459 worked fine with VEFlash and the multi is still working fine.

Also tried with a smart dongle but it cannot initialise the data from the multi.

Chip is: 2613150.VFD

Any help is appreciated.

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

Such a big jump in firmware suggests this is quite an old unit which needs an MK2 adapter. Perhaps you can add the year/week numbers from the beginning of the serial number. It's the first 4 digits after the HQ.

Seems to be HQ1301 on the sticker. I thought the mk3 is backwards compatible?

Not as far as I know. I'm surprised the software upgrade woeked
