Yesterday I received a "No data" alarm from the VRM portal. The last data received showed the battery bank discharged to 4% SOC. As it turns out, the shore power was disconnected and the bank had rapidly discharged due to the inverter being left on by mistake. Power was restored 12 hours later.
Some questions arise:
1. Why didn't the BMS or Cerbo GX switch off the inverter or battery bank when SOC was critically low?
2. Why did the VRM portal not send any alarm notifications as the system was being discharged? (Automatic alarm monitoring rule was in effect)
3. Can we assume that the battery bank was switched off at 4% SOC, or is that when the cellular router lost power and discharge continued to 0%?
4. Are the batteries damaged?
