G99 paperwork

Your multi Plus II -5000VA,installed witch G99 form did you use as SGI-1 - A3-3 is out > 16 amp or 3.68kw and Registered Capacities with ENA`s type test is 4.4Kw


am i right in saying you used SGI-2 from A1-2 with IDC and RC filled in at 4.4 kw and all so submitted G100 export limitation scheme SLD ?

have trouble with SSE and my set up but as its multi Plus II -5000VA 48v with wire grid meter export control just as your

@mjs500 I cant remember off the top of my head what form I used. I have a 6kva export allowance obtained before the introduction of SGI just for the solar panels, then i had to use a different form for my battery ESS as a export increase. Long storey short, my installed f**ked up and tried to do my DNO application retrospectively which you can only do upto 3.68kW. Fast track applications wasn't an option when I originally did my system, mine took about 9 months to sort in the end but all I got was 6kW export that I had to re-submit my self so I added on the Multiplus. I do need to find the orignal DNO applications so if I do, I'll post a copy on here.

I am about to put a export increase application in as I want to increase my total number of solar panels from my current 16 (360w x 16) on the solar inverter to add another 20 to another array on the rear of the roof plus on the sides as well. That will bring my total upto 40 panels inc the 6 on the MPPTs direct to the Multiplus.

I need to do it before the network, currently unconstrained, becomes partially constrained or even constrained otherwise I'll never get my export increase agreed.

My boss has not long had a 40 panel array fitted to his roof also with a 5kVa battery ESS plus 2 heat pumps. That was one hell of a DNO application but he managed his a lot quicker than mine.

So as I under stand this SGI-2 your inverter must be 16amp = 3.68Kw but you can have 2 qty and will be restricted to 16 amps export but as inverter are not type test for G100 to date ££££ to the dno for witness test


and only way for 5000 va multiplus is G99 SGI-3 and loop test and the PH to N must be < 180 m ohms and if not you will have a long time or out right rejection

This is my understanding too, yes.

In my case, I used SGI-3 and sent SSEN the Victron G100 paperwork, they didn't ask for a witness test or different documentation for "G100 Issue 2" and approved within a week. Maybe I got lucky, I don't know, but that was my experience.

I have 3 x Multiplus II 5000VA + 12.5kW AC-Coupled PV inverters (both three-phase). They gave me a max 22.08kW export which is configured in Victron's "max feed-in" page.

Yes. We submitted the "FO-NET-CAB-008" form with the G99 SGI-3 application. The electrician did this, recorded the result and attached photos in the form. Phase-neutral impedance was 110mΩ (phase-earth was 210mΩ).
