Muiltplus II 5000VA and uk grid export limits 3.67 kw 16 Amps

Muiltplus II 5000VA and ESS uk grid export limits (< 3.67 kw 16 Amps ) but be able to use 4 kw in ups mode i.e. grid black out and being able to lock the setting with password so that DNO can see its lock and not adjustable by end user as SSE are getting over ***** and as the 50 amp transfer switch is need for normal use so Muiltplus II 3000VA 32amp transfer switch not larger enough

My understanding is that if you want to use a Muiltplus II 5000VA you need G99. You can't use one with G98, regardless of if/how export is limited. It's the rating of the generation device that counts.

You can, however, use the G99 fast-track SGI-3 process, which is significantly faster than a standard G99. Ours, with SSE, took less than a week. others have had it back in within 48 hours.

G99 yes i no not typing get in under G98 as its > 3.67 kw 16 Amps but its 0.018 ohms or 180 m ohms max mandatory and this is grid wiring back to Transformer sec testing this is not a problem but reading over this is and 1950 cable and all old hard ware in- between

IF Victron set export limit and lock with password to stop end use changing it them you can used G99 fast-track SGI-2 process as its less than 32 amps and restrict to < 16 amp export and no loop test reading

Use two 3000VA in parallel:

- 64A passthrough
- 4800W UPS
- G99 SGI-2 (limit export to 16A in Victron config)

IF you can adjust the set point and not lock by Victron at factory you will not have permission to install as the combined is over >16 amps as i read the dno SGI-2 requirements

You won't get Victron to lock 5000VA to 16A max export from the factory (you can ask your distributor though, just in case).

You can install 2 x 3000VA. The max 16A total export can be configured in Victron AFAIK and doesn't need to be set in the factory. The wording is different;

"A G100 export limitation scheme limits the export to the distribution network to be no more than 16A" vs "the rating can be less than the basic design capacity if the manufacturer has limited the output to the lower rating".
