Ive been searching for hours, but Im not confident that I know the answer.
Can I use the Smart BP in between a DC-DC charger and the battery to ensure that the Lithiums are not charging in freezing temps? Im assuming that I would use the BMV-712 and temperature add-on to control the Smart BP by programming the BMV to send a signal to the BP to stop charging at <5C. I saw in the manual info regarding usage along with a Smart BMS, but Im asking about usage with the BMV. Thanks in advance.
