12/12-18 Location

Hello,

I intend to use an Orion 12/12 -18 DC-DC Charger, located under the double passenger seat, but I have seen some feedback around the heat but seems to be pointed at the 30amp version. Would that location not be suitable? Should I think of another location?

There would still be heat. But slightly over half of the 30A one.

So if you can deal with the derating....

The location suitable is one with good air flow.

The Manual states vertical mounted with at least 10cm clearance, non flammable surface...
