Help choosing the right MPPT

150 W SOLAR PANELS INSTALLATION INVERSOR Victron.pdf

Hello,

I am from Spain, I've recently bought a RV and I am trying to install solar panels,

I have so far connected 4 Flexible 12V 150W panels making array number 1, and array number 2 its 3 panels 12V 150W in series and then connected to 3 - 50W panels connected in parallel themself , so in other words I have two sets both equally given VOC: 93,6V VMP: 79,2V AMP: 7,58A ISC: 8,03A

I have a DC combination Breaker Box 2 in 1 (so both arrays are connected in parralel given a maximum possible output of 1200W VOC: 93,6 VMP:79,2 AMP: 15,16 ISC: 16,06A.

from there it should go to the MPPT (WHICH ONE SHOULD I CHOOSE?) connected to a Victron Inverter 48/5000/70A . I need to charge a 48V 7 KW Lithium battery


Can anyone help me deciding which is the correct Victron MPPT for my Solar instalation?

If the peak voltage can’t go over 100v you can use the 100/20 48v smartsolar. If you want to be sure 150/35 ...and for a future update

I have a Victron 48V/5000/70A inverter charger, should I have an MPPT with a least 70A to match the Inverter charger output?

70A x50v is about 3500w of solar. You don’t need a 70A mppt because of the inverter.
If you have space for 3.5kw of panel you can choose a bigger mppt.
