Offgrid inverter/charger setup to allow migration from 2x12V to 4x12 batteries

I am working on progressive setup. Id like to have 1 setup for a year or so then upgrade to the next one.

Initial setup:

PV: 12x200Wx24v rich solar
Batteries: 2 x 12v 270aH LiFePo4 wired in 24v
Inverter/Charger: Victron Multiplus 24/3000/70
Monitoring: Cerbo GX
MPPT: Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/100 Tr VE.Can

Future setup:

Increase to 4 batteries still in 24V
Add another Victron Multiplus 24/3000/70

I am 100% offgrid and need to charge w generator.

I see that the Quattro II 24/5000/120-50 would be the only other option but looks like cost outlay will be similar and the dual Multiplus will allow 240V and a progressive expenditure.

Do I have this correct? Would you recommend a better option?

Thank you

My current system is a pair of multi 24/3000/70 run in parallel. I started with one. However, you need to be aware of the restrictions for parallel running: the inverters need to be the same model and firmware set. So don't leave it too long before getting the second inverter....

Other than that, the only need is for a MK3 interface for configuration.

Ah good to know on the versions. I had read a comment regarding that but no explanation. Do you run a generator? Curious how that hooks up to two

they also recommend that you make the new one, the master
and the older one the slave

I don't know why... but they all seem to agree

I have a pair of 48/5000, i bought them within a month of each other, but I still made the newer one, the master
