I have a Multi Plus 3000 and the temp. light stays on and invertor will not switch on even when there is no load. Can the temp sensor be faulty. My invertor is 9 years old and it is on my boat. Do I need to replace my invertor or do I need a new temp. sensor.
Try removing the external temp sensor, the inverter can operate without it, but I suspect the problem might be more than that, with the internal temperature sensor.
It is best to contact your dealer for service. Another user reported a similar situation and their resolution, but we STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT ONLY THOSE WITH VICTRON SERVICE TRAINING open the equipment and attempt repairs.
