Can 2 multiplus 2 units be run in parallel without connecting

Can 2 multiplus inverters be installed in parallel completely indipendant but feeding the same db? The main reasoning is to improve redundancy. Is there any possible software or electrical issues that may arise?

They have to be connected and configured to run synchronized together.

Connecting them together unsynchronized will cause problems and/or damage.

No. It will end in tears. You could run as independent phases but would have to split your db.

This doc and its rules exist for a reason:
