Avoid voltage spikes when down stream BMS disconnects briefly 75/15 MPPT BT Controller

Are there any setting to suppress that annoying voltage spike when the BMS cycles off and and on?

Yes:

charge to a safe (lower) voltage so the bms doesn't have to disconnect. Under normal conditions a BMS shouldn't have to disconnect, only when the battery is out of balance too much.

That is exactly the point. It need to do this to balance. Lower voltage wont charge the battery pack properly.

Than the only two things I can think of are:

-have two batteries in parallel so they don't disconnect at the same time

-place a big capacitor over the battery terminals

thanks
