We have Installs running Multiplus II with a Fronius Gen24 Primo AC coupled on the AC Out. All monitoring is done by the CerboGX with a GX Touch. Everything was running fine and the Fronius was displayed on the GX Touch and within the VRM. It did say it was an “unknown Inverter” but that did not matter as it was reporting correctly.
Then we updated the CerboGX firmware to V3.01 and that is when the Fronius disappeared off the GX touch “pages” screen and somehow became a multiphase Tauro. It did remain on the “menu” main screen as a Fronius and showed the AC power but not on the “pages” screen or VRM. We tried the following with no success:
Removing and then adding the Fronius through the PV Inverter Menu.
Recycling Power to the Fronius.
Updating CerboGX Firmware with Fronius Off.
The only way we can get the Fronius back on to the GX touch "pages" screen and VRM is to roll back to Firmware V2.91.
Does anyone know if this is a Cerbo firmware issue or is there another fix?
