2x120 Multiplus II ESS - Split Phase

Hi, I have a Multiplus II 2x120V.

I would like to use it as a ESS and do peak power shave. That is, I would like the multiplus to use as much battery as possible during peak periods.

I have some 240V loads connected to it such as a infrared space heater. Can the multiplus II do peak power shave *while* keeping the space heaters on? I know the 240V is off in inverter only mode.

I guess one way to think of this is "power assist" with battery as priority?

With the mp2 2x120 ESS only operates on L1. It is a single transformer inverter so there is only power assist on L1 when connected to split phase input. So yes, it can power L1 from battery but L2 will still draw all of it's load from grid.
