Smart Battery Protect

I have read that the battery protect can operate as a battery isolator so you can switch it off and on. I cannot find anything that explain this set up other than when using a BMS.

So can the battery protect be used to 'turn off' the load (loads) when not in use by isolating the battery with either a switch or through the blue tooth? I am in particular thinking about the fridge but may have additional loads?

You can turn the Smart Battery Protect on or off with an external switch or relay contacts.
VictronConnect App also offers the ability to switch the load on or off.

There is a diagram at the bottom of the datasheet.
