12/1600 multiplus correct inline fuse size between battery and inverter ?

I keep blowing the inline fuse between the battery and victron inverter , I have a 125 amp fuse installed , I did find the positive battery terminal quite loose after the last fuse blew could this be the cause ? I have 3 x 120 amp hour AGM batteries installed to supply power is the 125 amp fuse the correct size to have installed ?

You should typically size the fuse at or slightly above the current at the peak power rating.

So 3000w/12v=250A.

A 125A fuse is not even sufficient to cover the continuous power rating for this inverter so there is no surprise that it's blowing.
