Multiplus II Inverter is not working when current sensor is connected to AUX 1

Ich have 3 Multiplus 2 working in three phase configuration. When connection then AC currrent sensor(s) CSE000100000 to AUX 1, then the inverter immediately stops working. I have installed the Current Sensor Assitant on all three Multiplus 2 devices. Furthermore I do not see any PV-Inverter symbol on CerboGX. WIthout connecting the AC current sensors the system is working in ESS mode as expected.

My system configuration is:

3 Multiplus II - 48/5000/70-100 230V in 3 phase system

3 AC current sensors connected to the AUX 1 input of each

1 CerboGX

1 EM324 as Grid meter

1 LeFePO4 Battery connected

1 PV Inverter connected to AC out 1

@Chris08154711 dont current sensors get connected to the "current sense" port?

Style of port varies depending on age of multi.

On my MP II there was from the beginning some default configuration seen in veconfig that used Aux1 to switch the MP II from grid. When I connected the AC-Sensor I had your symptoms discussed above. I also put the sensor on Aux 2, but disabled the feature of Aux 1 in veconfig and will change to Aux 1 again, when I have to do other changes anyway.

Try using the temp imput on the multis, item three seems to contridict the starting statement.

I have them working ok multiplusII and on aux 1 . but worth a try

I am presuming that all fw is on the latest versions

Thanks for the fast responses.

@Paul B : I got all components of my system a few weeks ago, so they should be quite new and the firmware of all components are up to date. I already use a temperature sensor on T-Sense inputs, but I will try your proposal later. Even if AUX 1 is not working, shouldn't I see the PV-Inverter symbol on Cerbo-GX ?
@klim8skeptic : According to the AC Current sensor document, I should connect the sensors to T-Sens or AUX input. The other requirements of my system should also be fullfilled.

SN of my Multis starts with: HQ2238

FW versions of the Multis are: 4.98

FW version of Cerbo-GX is: 2.94

I set the dip switches to 5kW as I have a 10kW PV-Inverter, so per phase I have 3,3 kW maximum.

One thing which I do not fully understand is, that the product code (PMP482505010) of my Multis is not in the list of the AC Current sensor document although my Multis are quite new.

My the way should I try to connect the AC Current sensors to the current sens input of the Multis ?

Thanks for all your support.

Finally I found the issues.

1) As I changed the sensors from AUX1 to AUX 2, I did not have the issues any more that the inverters of the Multis are switched off, when the sensors are connected. I also tried out temp sensor input and this is also working.

2) I was wondering why I could not see the PV-Invertes on my Cerbo-GX. After Rebooting of the Cerbo-GX, I could also see the PV-Inverter symbol in the GUI. It seems a reboot is needed.

Thanks for this posting !

I had exactly the same problem. AC current sensor connected to AUX 1 stopt multiplus from inverting. As Soon i moved the current sensor to Aux 2 and did of course a reconfigure in the AC current assistent. It worked ;-)

@Gni

I had that same issue. It took month of messing around and eventually help from the community we solved it. Notes on the below link.
