I have installed several EasySolar devices and recently installed my first EasySolar-II GX device.
On the EasySolar devices the MPPT is On when the device is in "charge only" mode.
However, on the EasySolar-II GX the MPPT goes to state Off in charge only/"II" mode. The remote on/off cable is connected to the MPPT H pin and only pulls the MPPT On when the mode button on the device is set to On/"I".
Is this the expected functionality or is there something wrong with this device? Or am I missing some configuration setting?
Can I bride the L & H pins on the MPPT (according to the MPPT manual) to keep it On without any side effects? I don't see why you would want to turn off the MPPT in Charge Only mode.
