Will AC 2 out on the MPII 48/3000 also be assisted by Solar power if available while connected on the grid?

Yes it will supply that naturtally ( nothing to do with the inverter setup) and then any excess to the grid

Thank you for the information Paul. I have not installed the solar yet and just want to understand what benefits it would bring.
