Will this setup work?

Hello!

I'm looking at using a

Viktron Energy setup to provide off-grid power. The proposed setup at the moment is:

I would really appreciate if someone could confirm that this setup would work to provide power. Could someone also guide me on how to choose cables.

Attachments: Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

Cable choice and fuses all have guides in the manuals linked at the bottom of the product pages.

Then you will need disconnects for the PV.

There are also some example set up diagrams at the bottom of product pages. They usually have cable size and fusing requirements as well.

For offgrid you would ideally want more solar panels.

As above read up / research / learn. And learn / calculate what AH you need/ use to size your system, if not build and go dark at 7pm or spend more than needed and have batteries at 60% at 5am.

Cable sizing look in the manual or simply google cable sizing calculator- available for dc or ac / lenght / voltage / amperage/ % loss ect ect.
