Easysolar-II not charging LiFePo4 smart battery

I have tried to read all the possible documents and gone through lots of threads here in the forum, but I really couldn't find a solution to my problem.

I have 2 pieces of smart LiFePo4 batteries (nominal voltage 51,2V, 16 cell, master-slave) connected to my EasySolar-II 48/5000/70-50 MPPT 250GX 5000VA through the BMS Can 500Kbit/s, that have an average voltage of 52.5V and a 57%SOC, that can be observed in the menu of the built-in Venus device, like in the picture:

I also managed, to force to broadcast this information SOC and voltage infromation from the built-on GX device to the built-in Multiplus-II (it was not too easy, I had to upgrade all of my built-in components within the EasySolar-II in order to get it functioning). Even the built-in MPPT device seems to be informed well. 2.png1677434763704.png

I added DVCC

and enabled battery monitor on CAN-bus

I use the HUB-1 configuration, and I would like to charge my batteries from AC-in until my PV panels will be ready, but the battery is never ever charged it is always Idle 0W. (AC-Input is not conditional)

Charger voltage levels are set as followes:

My question is, how is it possible to start the battery charging from AC-IN in HUB-1 configuration?

(I also tried the grid parallel installiation with ESS, and keep battery charged with no success, batteries logs do not show any errors, they are is normal state, no errors or warnings are present)

I would appriciate your help.

Thank you in advance!

Try resetup the system without battery comms.

Check on the vrm what the ccl and dcl limit are showing in the advanced section and using the battery widget.

I disconnected the battery pack from BMS CAN-bus, and restarted the system, now it is not possible to monitor the CCL and DCL limits any more through the VRM portal (after 19:30 there is not data)

Also the Multiplus-II is calculating false values:

Not worried about SOC right now. What we need to determine is if the battery is preventing charge or your settings.

So does the battery charge without the comms there?

What voltage is the inverter set to charge the battery to? Does it match battery recommended voltages?

And as @Matthias Lange - DE asked, what batteries do you actually have?

Your ve config post shows your bulk charge at 56.8v in your screen shot for reply the voltage is 56.8v and in absorption (so balancing) this point in the charge cycle does not use many amps for charging (usually one or 2 every now and then) as the cells are balancing.

So it should not be putting a charge into the bank. After this point the systen will then drop the battery to the float level.

56.8V is the max recommended charge voltage of the battery what dvcc setting would be appriate?

DVCC only matters if you are having high voltage warnings or you want to control charge current. And have other issues to sort out on the battery.do t stress about it.

What does your battery current and voltage curve look like? Is it going up to the correct bulk/abs voltage, staying there for the correct time and dropping down to the correct float voltage?

After a long day measuring every component of my installation I have found the cause of problem: altough the fuses had been checked twice and I found them to be ok but the fuse switch disconnector between the inverter and the batteries (newly bought) had a very small cracking, therefore the connection was unstable. Thank you for your help!

Can you be more precise about the battery model?

I recall having a similar issue where I could not charge my battery on the generator. I have an EasySolar II GX 3000 with no assistants installed (it's completely off grid) and I found that I needed the current transformer to be installed before anything worked properly. I dont know if that was a generator thing, but your issue looks similar to mine. I recall seeing power coming into the unit, but no current.

It was only after I installed the transformer that anything worked in my setup.

Happy to share my settings with you if it's of any help.
