Cerbo GX Relay Open/Closed

Hello

In Cerbo GX manual is stated "The GX device has potential-free Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) relay functionality. This can be programmed via the menu to operate under a variety of conditions."

Where is this menu for NO/NC configuration for Relay?

Thanks

That's worded a bit wrong. The relay functionality can be programmed, but the wiring decides the polarity. I'll make sure this gets better wording.

If you want your device/application to turn on when the relay is activated, choose NO configuration (wired between NO and COM). If you want the device/application to turn off when the relay activates, choose NC configuration (wired between NC and COM).

Only when configured as alarm relay, the polarity can be toggled (from the alarm relay menu) between NO and NC.

On the Normally Closed configuration would the NC connection be negative (common) or positive?

If Positive, I would assume we could also hardwire a switch in series for a manual shut off which should be a pretty small amount of current.

Correct?

The relays are potential-free dry contacts, so they have no "polarity". It's the wiring that decides which "polarity" the relays should switch.
