USB GPS Module not recognized by CCGX

Does anybody have an idea why my Globalsat BU353S4 SiRF STAR IV 4800 baud is not recognized by CCGX. It is correctly powered and the CCGX recognizes an USB device but not that it is a GPS module. I am running Firmware 2.21. I had the same issue with my original GPS module which was a NaviLock so bought this one as here the CCGX manual said it is supported. Any hint highly welcome. Michael

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

first of all please upgrade the CCGX to the latest release 2.23 also be aware that a new 2.30 firmware is going to be released soon as its in the final testing phase at the moment.


please then advise if you still have the issue

After installing latest firmware it worked right away. Thanks.
