Multiplus 24/3000 charging from 6.5kw generator, only 1kw gain

I have a senci 8000E II generator, rated at 6.5kw connected to my multiplus 24/3000 inverter. I've had to disable UPS and powerassist, and turn on the weak AC input flag to get it charging consistently, but I only get about 1kw from it. I'm not clear on how much gain I should expect with this setup, it seems low given the generator power.

Can anyone help me, both with whether this is a reasonable gain, and if there's anything I can do to improve it. Thanks

@Jason Hadjikyriacou

On the Grid charger tab, check the amps set there.

I think 70A is the max it can go there on a 24v system.

24 x70 = 1680W

At 28 x 70 = 1960W.

If you have weak ac enabled you wont see the full 1960W.

So unless you also have loads on the system that will be the max drawn for charging from the generator.

Take off weak ac and enable wide frequency instead. That may help with the generator acceptance as well.

Yes, 70A is the max. So that adds up, thank you.
