Atlas Combi Temperature sensor for Ukraine friends

I've recently bought a Victron Atlas Combi (12V 800W) for my friends from Ukraine.
Unfortunately the device came without a temperature sensor. The manual says, there must be one, temperature sensor type is specified as V.T.S. (Victron Temperature Sensor).

1. Will the modern temperature sensors for Multiplus/Skylla work with Atlas Combi ?: https://www.victronenergy.com/live/temperature_sensors

2. Is there a way to make the charger charge without the sensor (now it does not charge but shows no failure when no sensor connected and the jumper HD6 set to ON) ?

BTW. In Ukriane they have electricity now only at night for c.a. 4H (september 2022). Victron products are like blessing for them now. The goal is to run heating pump for few hours more. Atlas Combi, though an extra old device is exactly what should help them survive the winter.

I've got info from Victron that modern temperature sensor used with Multi will not work and the sensors are not available anymore. No more info from Victron :(
I would greatly appreciate posting any info about those temperature sensors for Atlas Combi or a way to get the charger to work without the sensor - photo, schematics, part number, anything, please.

@Philip
According to the manual, if you don't have a sensor, you need to have Jumper HDR6 switched on.

Hi,

Thanks, I've seen this and it still doesn't work. When HD6 jumper is "OFF" (taken off) the system shows "Failure" and does not charge, without the sensor but with jumper "ON" the system still doesn't charge but shows no "failure".
I should have today the original sensor so I will post how it looks like and how it works.

So this is how the sensor looks like. Unfortunately after connecting it the the led on the sensor lights up but the charger still doesn't charge the battery (the HDR6 jumper is OFF). With the sensor attached, jumper OFF and charger ON the "Failure" LED is OK but after switching the charger OFF the "Failure" led shows a problem.
Am I right that the devices charger is propably dead ? Am i missing something ?20221202-112509.jpg
