12v Smart BatteryProtect to drive from the LD signal from 48v VE.Bus BMS

Hi!

I have a 12v circuit that I need to shut down when the 48v LFP batteries send a low voltage singal. Is is possible to use the 48v LD from the BMS as an input for a 12v BatteryProtect?

48v connected to +H <- LD BMS, -GND <- Battery, while the in/out is a completely different 12v circuit.

thanks

I would not like to connect these two directly. The signals are referenced to the battery on each device.
In your case, with separate systems, use a relay or opto-isolator between the two devices.

Ok, thanks, but the same question goes for a Cyrix-Li-load. Can that be driven by 48v and switch 12v?
