I'm building the above system with about 6k of panels , 4x Pylontec 3000C . I've read threads about recent problems powering the Cerbo GX from the 48v supply . I will be using a victron power in to connect batteries and MPPT along with relevant fusing .
I've bought an Orion TR48/12 DC-DC converter figuring that this may be a safer way to power the Cerbo , instead of risking that my unit may be one of those not liking a 48V supply. Planning to link the Orion through the power in via an appropriate fuse .
Does that sound ok ?
