color control gx mppt parelleling 2 mppts with ve direct and 1 mppt with usb to ve direct

I am currently using the Color Control Gx with 2 Mppt 250/100 smartsolar i want to add a another Mppt 250/100 smartsolar can i use a usb to ve direct as the Color Control only have 2 Ve Directs Will it work or cause issue ?

As per the spec sheet:

When more than two VE.Direct products must be connected, USB can be used
