Please consider providing the option to control the AC Input type using a Digital Input on the Cerbo GX. Allows the existing reverse power controls (feeding) of the AC Input types to be leveraged on demand.
Use case:
You can do this with assistants / macros on the Multiplus. No need for a Cerbo inbetween, they have all digital inputs.
Which assistant would this be?
You can use the current limits to control how much energy is allowed in from grid, you can change charge current limit to stop charging, you can control AC2 OUT to dump load, there are plenty of options to control what the inverter is doing.
AFAIK input type is not a setting on the inverter that affects its function, it is a category for the vrm energy reporting only.

The feature request it not related to demand management, rather it is related to the excess energy feed-in function of ESS. If the AC input type is set to Generator, feed-in (reverse power) is not allowed (even if feed-in of excess is enabled) and when the type is set to Grid, feed-in is allowed.
This would also provide a way to integrate an external transfer switch into the system for other behavior as well. For example changing the input current limit based on grid/generator source. Quattro has an internal transfer switch which does exactly that (and also disables feed-in when on generator) but MultiPlus do not.
I am looking for exact the same solution, did you find any workaround to switch the ac-in from grid to generator to do not destroy the generator when feed in excess power and changed the ac-in by a manual switch from gird to gen.
