Insulated exposed busbar ends on Lynx Smart BMS

I don’t require a Lynx Power in, so I am attaching the connections from the Battery directly to the busbar ends on the Lynx Smart BMS At the other end from the Lynx Distributer.

Has anyone found an elegant solution to insulate the connections from accidental short?

Can’t come up with a better solution than winding with electrical tape at the moment, and that is hardly elegant.

Adhesive lined heat shrink tubing.

Not sure where I can find heat shrink tubing large enough to cover the ends of the bus bars plus bolts and lugs?

Amazon? I have no idea where you live. I can get it locally from solar suppiers.

Amazon uk has decent sizing.

Measure the size of your bolts, I also dont know what you are using there. But the sizes are available.

Thanks! Didn’t realise heatshrink came in such large sizes.

I did it like this:

I found them in a local webshop. Sure you can find something similar.

And I had to cut them a little bit so they fell nicely over the busbars.
