Batteries, Multiplus, Looking for thoughts

I am looking to upgrade my small 24v ESS system from AGM to LifePo4. Most lithium batteries do not allow series connectivity which limits the available Lithium batteries. So I have two real questions.

  • Looking at sterling power which they claim can be connected in series and parallel, does anyone have experience with these.
  • Pylontech UP2500 but seems like availability of these is undetermined or even discontinued from a number of suppliers.

Also

It is always recommended when pairing batteries to use the same type, technology and age. But if you are looking for scalable solution surly you can add batteries at different times. Any thoughts

  • 1 x Multiplus - II. 24/3000/70
  • 1 x Cerbro
  • 2 x Smart Solar 100/30
  • 1 x Lynx Shunt
  • 1 x Lynx Distributer
  • 4 x 12v 130AH AGM Batteries in P-S-P

Looking for thoughts or recommendations

Thankyou in advance

Go for 48V if you want to upgrade.

Obviously this also means a 48V inverter.

Why not use a 24V battery?
