VE Bus Mains detector for Multiplus 12/800/35

Do I need a Mains detector with a Multiplus 12/800/35?

I have a Lynx Smart BMS and CerboGX.

This question has been asked before, but no answers that I can see.

Hi @Sweyn,

No need for the Mains detector (it's part of the VE.Bus BMS) for your system.

Thanks again Stefanie. I’d found a reference saying that the Multiplus 2 had a built in mains detector, but no reference to the other multipluses or other parts of the system.

You're welcome.

Even if the MultiPlus-II has a built-in mains detector, this would only help with a VE.Bus BMS. But since you have a Lynx Smart BMS, it does not come into play.
