Multiplus charger off with shore power

What is the most simple way for the multiplus compact to put the charger off while there is still 220 volt on my A-C outlets?

Thanks. In my opinion the operation described in the link is not simple. But that does not matter. It is tested for a multiplus, but for a multiplus compact. Leading to the question: is there a difference, concerning the electronics and software regulation, between the multiplus and multiplus compact?
