I have a ip65 charger ,when charging I am not seeing it's output on my BMV-712 SMART MONITOR,WHY ,?PLEASE HELP

Have an ip65 ,when charging I am not seeing it's output on my BMI - 712 SMART MONITOR ,why ? Help please .

How is the charger wired to the battery?

Is the negative directly connected to the battery or to the system side of the shunt?

Aha correct ,thank you for that suggestion ,had it on the ground battery side of the shunt ,thank you so very much ,hooray
