MPPT device disappeared from Victron Connect after firmware upgrade

I have the following two devices:

Cerbo GX Firmware v2.80

BlueSolar MPPT 150/60 Firmware 1.56 (just upgraded from unknown version (I forgot to make a note!))

There is a VE.direct connection between the two devices.

Victron Connect talks to the Cerbo GX via WiFi/wired ethernet.

Before upgrading the MPPT firmware I was able to see the MPPT device in Victron Connect, but after upgrade I cannot.

I have, with no effect.

0. Rebooted my network hub and switch

1. Rebooted the MPPT

2. Rebooted the Cerbo GX

3. Uninstalled and re-installed Victron Connect.

4. Connected to the Cerbo GX by bluetooth rather than WiFi.

My system appears properly in the Cerbo GX and console and normally in VRM.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Paul

Neither v1.56 or v2.80 are current firmware.

Victron Connect should be at v5.59.

@klim8skeptic - thankyou for getting back.

Cerbo GX: 2.80 AFAIK is the latest large release.

MPPT: 1.56 was the latest release offered by the MPPT update procedure this morning. It was after this install that VictronConnect stopped talking to the MPPT.

Victron Connect is at 5.59

All these versions are as they were before the MPPT update, so it is here that the problem lies I think.

OK. It took around 90 minutes, but the MPPT charger finally popped up in Victron Connect.

I guess that patience is important.

I occasionally rant about the 6 P's. Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance.

You have added a 7th P, Patience.

Kudos, S.
