Victron grounding

I need to double check grounding rules with the Victron Multiplus please… in our situation it will be used to power a coffee machine in a tent at a trade show. It will not be connected to shore power, it will only be operated in inverter mode. There is no chassis or hull to connect the Multiplus case ground point to and no connected metal parts that customers can touch, Is an earth cable to the case ground point necessary in this temporary use case?

The correct grounding rules are not up to Victron, but your local authorities and the parameters of installation.
If you are activating the ground relay in inverter mode, then you'll need to run a protective earth wire to the chassis and reference to the actual ground.
Otherwise the ground relay would be disabled and the system wiring configured as a floating system.

Consult your electrician to discuss the best way forward depending upon your local code or regulations. Temporary installations are no less dangerous if not wired correctly.
