Since Lynx distributor and Lynx BMS connected together results too long for my installation, do you think it’s a problem to connect them through short cables so that I can place the BMS on a horizontal plane and the Distributor vertically?

I see no reason why this shouldn't work.
But it is absolutely important to dimension the connecting cables sufficiently according to the maximum currents to be expected. The Lynx distributors can handle up to 1000A.
In addition, longer RJ10 cables may be required.
