Smartsolar 150/70 showing incorrect battery voltage after v3.07 firmware update

I have a very strange problem. I have a smartsolar 150/70 that is showing a battery voltage approximately 3v higher after the firmware was updated to v3.07. I have checked the voltage at the terminals on the unit and it is the same as the batteries. It was reading fine on the previous firmware. So, for example, if the battery voltage is 48v, the charger is reading 51v. This is causing it to float and stop charging way too soon. I have swapped the unit with a 150/35 with the latest firmware and the voltage reads fine. It seems to just be the 150/70 unit that has the problem. I would understand if it was reading lower that there could have potentially been a wiring problem or something like that, but it was suddenly reading higher and only with this unit. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

Same problem on MPPT 250/100

Battery voltage on app shows 59 V actual battery voltage 54.6 V

Charger is not charging battery nor feeding back to the grid

Thanks for your response. I expect there will be lots of people that don't realise they have this problem, because they never check the voltage on the batteries vs what the app says. I'm hoping someone from Victron support can do some tests and confirm this is an issue with the current firmware.

There seems to be a 3.10 available.

Victronconnect on my android is saying my 150/70 firmware is up to date at v3.07. Is there a link I can manually download v3.10 or do I have to wait until it is pushed out to me?

I've installed v3.10 but it doesn't fix the problem.

Bump.

You dont have any voltage compensation enabled?

Not that I'm aware of. It was reading fine until the update. Would the update have automatically changed this? If so, this seems like a dangerous thing to change automatically. I'll check through the settings next time I'm onsite and confirm.

There's no voltage compensation enabled. Can someone in Victron support have a look into this?

?

Since when?

The software is the program managing the update.

The firmware is downloaded indivudually.

Download the older firmware onto a your phone or tablet or computer and then update it manually back to the older version that you had originally. and retest it then, if it continues then take it back to a Victron agent for testing
