Common remote switch for multiplus II and Orion dc/dc on a 48v system

Hi there,

I got a vehicle with a 48v system and want to connect a common remote switch to turn off the multiplus II (48v) and all Orion dc/dc 48-12 with one switch.

The voltage of the remote switch on the multiplus II is 13v and on the Orion it is 48v. Could I connect them together? Are the circuit of the remote switch input on the multiplus has a tolerance for 48v?

Best regards

Steffen

I would use one switch that turns two relays on/off one for the multiplus the other for the Orion

best to keep the two banks separte

Correct, or use a switch with multiple contacts inside (dual pole, triple pole, etc), than you don't need a relay (but do need more conductors in the cable;)

I don't know if you can safely connect multiple orions to one switch, check the manual for that.
