Cerbo CAN connection

Hello everyone,

could you please tell me if the BMS-CAN connection can be used as a VE.CAN connection?
The system I have in mind has 2 MPPT VE.CAN, 1 MultiPlus and Pylontech Force L2 which needs type-A cable.

Many thanks,

Mike

@FGS Energie

There is a section in the manual on it.

The ve can mppts can be daisy chained and use one port.

The battery will use the bms can.

The Multi will use the ve bus connection.

So you will easily have enough ports without mixing. Or not having enough ports.

Could you please tell me which VE.CAN cable I need in order to connect the MPPTs to each others and then to the Cerbo? Possibly using the Victron coding system.

Many thanks,

Mike

@FGS Energie

Just a normal RJ45 UTP cable for can connections.
